David Lindgren’s Coaching and Therapy Philosophy
Today, the public itself and potential clients, like yourself, are confronted with challenges that require both depth psychology and life coaching. They presumably do not necessarily have the luxury of long-term therapy in resolving complex psychic problems. Nor can they expediently and urgently rush through to simple solutions. So this is where the connection of coaching and therapy came to bear. In many ways, you can’t do one without the other.

The missing link here is “strategic coaching” with an awareness of the ongoing, often insidious and complex relationship issues.

Creating

breakthroughs

David’s intention as a Coach/Therapist is to prepare the way for clients to address their life dilemmas and to prepare for progress. No one comes to therapy/coaching without some degree of pain that drives their needs for change. And simple linear solutions only set up false expectations. My ideal clients typically exhibit relationship issues at the core of their life dilemmas which may be current or much earlier.
Due to the complex state of the economy, finances can be more limited.
Due to the pressure of “making it”, relationships are at risk.
And there are other collateral damages in terms of costs of physical well-being causing people to seek quick fixes.
In fact, the coaching profession ironically and unfortunately promotes “quick fixes” as a way of attracting clients.
Who are some of the clients who have requested my services?
Men who want quick fixes in their love relationships and need analysis and understanding.
Women who need to receive empathy and support from my success as a man working with women in their relationships.
Individuals and couples who need guidance in making healthy choices in their primary relationships and with their children.
Individuals who are struggling with life stage changes in their lives and relationships.
Entrepreneurs who have ventured out far out over the bow of their boat.
Company owners or executives who are facing a complex multitude of problems with running a company, its employees and then running their own life.

David practices in Glenview, Illinois and schedules in-person video sessions.
